Legacies of Lakeland was created by the Lakeland Public Library's Special Collections Librarian, LuAnne Mims, who hoped that listeners would experience Lakeland's history through the compelling narrative of those who lived it.
This episode features Edgar T. Pickett Jr. who was one of Lakeland's first black police officers.
