The December episode of the Listen Lakeland Radio Show features Dr. Nancy Nuzzo (Program Director and Dean of the School of Physical Therapy) and Dr. Prisca Collins (Associate Professor and Director of Community Engagement) who discusses the new Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Florida Southern College. The program will serve the growing demand for physical therapists throughout the country and provide services to local agencies.
Also in this episode is a segment with Dr. Alex Rich, Assistant Professor of Art History and Curator and Director of Galleries and Exhibitions at the Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College. Polk Museum partners with Florida Southern College and Dr. Rich discusses how the two year-old partnership has been a benefit to the museum, the College, and the community patrons.

Mayor Bill Mutz's Economic Inclusion Summit was held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at Lakeland Electric. This was the second of a series of meetings that are part of the Mayor's "One Lakeland" initaitive. One Lakeland aims to generate continued prosperity through inclusion.
Presenters included the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Lakeland Economic Development Council, Lakeland CRA - Community Redevelopment Agency.The facilitator was Mayor Bill Mutz and featured Community & Economic Development Director Nicole Travis.
