Flight to Honor’s mission is to honor our nation’s veterans with an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Founded by Col Gary Clark in 2015, the local Flight to Honor will make its seventh flight in April. Join host and Lakeland Vision Board Member, Liz Craven and guests, Col Gary Clark of the Polk County Veteran’s Council and Tabitha Bradford of Cornerstone Hospice, to learn more and hear about how you can share in this moving experience.

Listen Lakeland - November 2021

Listen Lakeland welcomes guests, Matthew Giallourakis, Florida Polytechnic University Graduate; Jaimie Davis, Electrical Engineer Student at Florida Polytechnic University; and Stefan Dolbashian, Artistic Director of Florida Dance Theatre.  Together with host Jermaine Thornton, who is the Executive Director of Florida Dance Theatre and a Lakeland Vision Board Member, the group shares details of a unique collaboration between Florida Dance Theatre and Florida Polytechnic University’s Arts Lab called “APEX”.  APEX uses technology to convert the beauty and grace of dance into an innovative, stunning work of art.
